Our children our our greatest resource. The Saginaw Township community is fortunate to have dedicated police crossing guards that help ensure the safety of our children.
The Saginaw Township Police Department Police Crossing Guard program is supervised by Sergeant John Pelkki.
We appreciate the commitment that our crossing guards make to the program. They serve at assigned intersections in all sorts of weather conditions and monitor the safe travel of our children throughout the school year.
Crossing Guard David Vanconant received the Chief's Citation for Exceptional Service during the 2010 Awards Ceremony held this past May. Congratulations to David!
