34th Annual STPOA Ball a Success
On April 17th, 2010 the Saginaw Township Police Officer Association hosted it's annual Policeman's Ball.
Nearly 700 attendees enjoyed dinner and dancing at the Horizon's Center and several thousand dollars were raised to help fund various causes for the association.
Proceed's are used to assist officers and their families in times of need. Funds are also set aside for the Michael Cohee Scholarship Fund.
The STPD and STPOA members wish to thank all of the area businesses that provided goods and services to be raffled off throughout the night.
Detective Mindy Worden once again provided outstanding leadership as chairperson for the event.
Plans are already being made for next years event.
