BARKING DOGS
The Saginaw Township Police Department responds to complaints of barking dogs on a routine basis.
For enforcement purposes, it is helpful if you provide your name as a complainant when you contact 911 or our business operations line at 989-793-2310.
The normal procedure regarding a barking dog complaint is to make contact with the resident where the dog is located and ask that they quiet the dog. The situation is documented by the responding officer either on their daily activity log or via a case number as a warning.
Repeated responses to the address may result in the resident being cited for an ordinance violation.
