Review Your Credit Card Statements
Fraud Expert Detective Robert Bean
We hope that everyone had an enjoyable holiday season. Unfortunately for many now begins the time where bills for credit card purchases begin to come in.
Our fraud expert, Detective Robert Bean of the Crime Prevention Unit reminds residents to check their credit card statements for possible fraudulent activity that may be disguised as a result of holiday purchases. Credit card fraud causes billions of dollars in loss each year to unsuspecting people that are not diligent in their efforts to verify listed purchases are legitimate.
Saginaw Township Police and Parenting Time
Parenting Time is a civil matter dealt with by FOC
A frequent Friday and Sunday evening call to Saginaw Township road patrol officers involves parenting time issues between community members that have children in common. As of June 1, 2002, the matter of "Parenting Time" is set by the Friend of the Court (FOC) and is not a criminal matter.
We empathize with the situation however a parent refusing to drop off a child is a matter that MUST be dealt with by FOC. When dispatched, we will normally provide the complaining party with a packet provided by Susan K. Prine, Director of Saginaw County Friend of the Court. As a convienience to our residents, the packet may viewed and printed here.
In addition Director Prine has posted information regarding a "Standardized Parenting Time Schedule" effective in 2010 that provides the dates and times of visitation.
For more information on visitation and FOC, please visit the Saginaw County Friend of the Court website.

The online registration has proven to be benefitial in several instances where at risk residents have wandered from their normal surroundings and become lost.

Questions regarding the form or for further information about the program contact Sergeant Masica or Officer Uphold.
